Atria Aquidneck Place to compete in chili cook-off
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Atria Aquidneck Place in Portsmouth will compete as part of the Atria Senior Living team in the Newport Winter Festival’s 22nd annual Chili Cook-Off presented by Samuel Adams.
Representatives from all 4 locations of Atria Senior Living, including Atria Aquidneck Place, Atria Bay Spring Village, Atria Harborhill and Atria Lincoln Place, will team up to take part in the cook-off. The Atria team will prepare its chili at the Barrington location.
The chili cook-off will take place Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m .at Gurney’s Newport Resort (formerly Hyatt Newport) on Goat Island.
Restaurants and caterers will compete to see who has the best chili in town!

Big Rock BBQ and Chili Masters
“Bring your appetite, sharpen your taste buds, and join in the fun as you choose your favorite chili,” according to the event page.
Admission is $10 without a bracelet and $8 with a winter festival bracelet. Tickets for children (ages 6-10) are $4 without a bracelet and $2 with a bracelet. Admission is free for children under 5.
