From free coffee to showers, Aquidneck community offers help to those without heat

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — As more than 7,000 National Grid customers experienced a second day without heat Tuesday, many community businesses and residents opened their doors to those needing assistance. Here is a list of those offering help as of Tuesday at 11 a.m.

The Portsmouth Free Public Library is open until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The library has a phone charging station.
