PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Free Thanksgiving dinners are available around Portsmouth this Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 22.
The Thanksgiving dinners are open to everyone, whether you’re a soldier or college student away from home this holiday to those hungry who are looking for a warm meal.
Free Thanksgiving Dinners
Sandywoods Center for the Arts, located at 43 Muse Way, Tiverton, will hold a free Thanksgiving dinner starting at 2 p.m.
Sandywoods Farm will once again serve a Community Thanksgiving dinner to all who wish to celebrate the day with us.
The dinner is FREE and will consist of: Turkey and trimmings, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes with gravy, squash and more.
Dinner will be served at 2pm. Doors will open for guest at 1:15pm.
People who attend may bring desserts, drinks or side dishes to share. No reservations are required.
We are looking for volunteers to help us with kitchen preparations on Wednesday prior and on Thursday, setting up and serving. If you are interested in helping out please email: email@example.com
We are also asking for donations of turkeys and local market gift certificates or money (to buy ingredients). If you wish to donate to this FREE event, please contact the above email.

Seamen’s Church Institute, located at 18 Market Square, Newport, will hold a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All are welcome to this community Thanksgiving dinner.
Volunteers will be taking to the kitchen – preparing a fresh, made-from-scratch traditional thanksgiving feast.
Open to the public. Join us for turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings including dessert!
