Common Fence Point seeks food trucks

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Do you know a food truck owner? Common Fence Point wants to hear from them!

“We don’t have to cook Wednesdays,” a popular event in Common Fence Point, will return soon, according to neighborhood officials. Each Wednesday, a different food truck arrives outside the Common Fence Point Community Hall in Portsmouth.

Currently, the Common Fence Point Improvement Association welcomes applications from food trucks interested in attending the event and serving local residents.

All trucks must have a current and valid food service license issued by the state of Rhode Island and validated by CFPIA. Food trucks are responsible for obtaining all the required permits and licenses required to legally operate in the state and town.

A food truck must be invited to attend a CFP food truck event. All trucks that show up uninvited will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
