PHOTOS: Nor’easter downs trees, creates flooding

A Nor'easter along the entire east coast brought downed trees, power outages, and flooding to Portsmouth on Friday and Saturday.

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — A Nor’easter along the entire east coast resulted in downed trees, power outages, and flooding to Portsmouth on Friday and Saturday.

As of 10 a.m. Saturday, National Grid crews were working to restore power throughout the state, including more than 300 customers in Portsmouth. Areas of Common Fence Point and Island Park also witnessed flooding Saturday morning.
