The following Fourth of July events are organized by nearest town, starting with Portsmouth.

Tuesday, July 4  9:30 p.m.  Escobar’s Farm, 133 Middle Road  This event, which is open to the public, is privately funded by Louis Escobar at his dairy farm. Donations are welcome. No rain date announced.

Carnegie Abbey Country Club
Carnegie Abbey Country Club will hold its Fourth of July celebration for members. Event includes dinner and fireworks. Reservations required. Tickets are $98 for adults; $50 for children, ages 6-12.
Free for children under 5-years-old.

No rain date.The Fireworks will be fired from a barge in East Ferry. Parking is available along Canonicus Avenue, Narragansett Avenue (and other downtown side streets where parking is not illegal). East Ferry Beach is located on Canonicus Avenue.

Enjoy music on the town square starting at 7:30 p.m.

 Tuesday, July 4 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.   Rose Island Rose Island Annual 4th of July Barbecue includes an evening of great food and music. 

Watch the spectacular Newport Fireworks from Rose Island! Price includes a barbecue feast supplied by Becky’s BBQ, soft drinks and cash bar. 

Music provided by Rose Wharf and Timmy May.

Tickets:  $80 for Lighthouse members, $90 for non-members which includes transportation to the island, $35 for children ages 6 – 12, Children 5 and under are free.

Games, 50/50 raffle – Attendance limited to 150 lucky ticket holders.

Event will be held rain or shine.

Fall River, Mass.

Watch the City of Fall River’s display of fireworks from the decks of the battleship USS Massachusetts.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $8.00 per person, available at the Museum’s Gift Shop.  

Please be advised there are no bags, weapons of any kind, or coolers allowed. All guests will need to go through a security checkpoint prior to entry. There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property.

Refreshments will be available aboard the battleship.
