PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Meet Monk, our adoptable dog of the week. Monk, a chihuahua short coat mix, is currently available for adoption at the Potter League for Animals.
Monk is male and about 10-years-old. From the Potter League:
Meet Monk. His affection is timeless, his love is ageless, his love is endless. And he is currently in search of a family to call his very own. Monk is quite simply delightful. As you may be able to tell, Monk is a little old man, but you really wouldn’t know it from the amount of happiness he exudes. Monk could teach us all a thing or two about contentness and living in the moment. Monk’s ideal home includes another older calm dog that will very much enjoy keeping each other company. He especially loves his dog bed and he nestles right in. He enjoys sitting in your lap, looking out windows to watch the coming & goings, and he loves to cuddle with other dogs. Sharing beds is a Monk speciality. Monk has cataracts in both eyes, will be receiving a dental, and does have some skin issues and will need weekly medicated baths to help. And yet, none of those issues prevent Monk from being a happy-go-lucky dog. Monk is pretty special. And we know that there is a home out there that is going to love him like he has always deserved to be loved. Come meet Monk at the Potter League today.
