PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Mt. Hope Park survey results are in! Check below to see results from 119 people, who answered the questions over a 5-week period.
The survey results will be used for planning purposes for this conservation project.
In January 2016, the Aquidneck Land Trust (ALT) and the town of Portsmouth partnered to purchase this unique waterfront property in Portsmouth for the development of Mt. Hope Park, a new permanently conserved park land.
The van Beuren Charitable Foundation has given ALT funding for a master planning process to ensure quality design and planning for the park.
A second, public hearing on the Mt. Hope Park project will be held at a later date.
