PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — How much snow fell in Portsmouth as of Friday morning? Find out here. 

While it’s still snowing as of Friday at 2:39 p.m., a National Weather Service (NWS) employee is reporting the following total snowfall: 

3.5 inches 

The recording was measured at 11:28 a.m. There’s a good chance the amount has increased since 11:28 a.m. 

Nearby snow totals included 5 inches in Little Compton as of 12:14 p.m. and 4.5 inches in Newport as of 1:10 p.m. 

Snow is expected to stop late Friday afternoon. A parking ban remains in effect until 9 p.m. in Portsmouth.
