PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The town of Portsmouth’s Recreation Department is now accepting applications for summer camp at Sandy Point Beach and Glen Farm.
For 2018, the Recreation Department will host a Glen Farm Summer vacation Camp (new this year).
According to the town website, the Recreation Director is busy restructuring the camp so children will spend time at the Leonard Brown House and Sandy Point Beach.
The camp will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Sandy Point Beach, and on Tuesday and Thursday at the Leonard Brown House at Glen Farm.
The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. each day.
Seven sessions will be held, including the following: Session 1, June 25 – June 29; Session 2, July 2 – July 6; Session 3, July 9 – July 13; Session 4, July 16 – July 20; Session 5, July 23 – July 27; Session 6, July 30 – August 3; and Session 7, August 6 -August 10.
The registration fee is $20 for Portsmouth residents and $30 for non-residents. The registration fee will reserve your child or children’s place at camp.
The cost for the camp program is $200 per week or $45 per day.
