PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Stitchery, a sewing, knitting and crafting studio in Portsmouth, will celebrate its first anniversary this weekend.
Join Karen Katin and Traci Vaspol for a Crafternoon Tea on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the studio, 14 Potomac St., off East Main Road.
Bring a handcraft or create something while enjoying tea and scones.
“It’s so enjoyable for us to see how people have surprised themselves with what they are able to create in class, uncovering skills they never knew they had,” said Katin.
“We are looking forward to seeing and celebrating with all the folks we have worked with over the last
year,” said Vaspol.
Curious about what kinds of things are made in classes at a Needle Arts Studio?
Sewing classes, taught by Katin of Dancing Threads RI, and knitting classes, taught by Vaspol of Britstitchery, are available for both children and adults. The event is open to the public.
