PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The town of Portsmouth is asking residents to complete a short survey about plastic bag use as part of its discussion on the potential ban of single-use plastic bags in town.

To gain some information on the opinions of its citizens on single-use plastic bags in Portsmouth, the town has issued an online survey.

The short survey can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PortsmouthPlasticBags.

A link is also available on the town website, www.Portsmouthri.com.

Residents who desire to complete the survey manually can download a copy of the survey form on the town website, or obtain one at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall, 2200 East Main Road.

The form can then either be mailed or delivered by hand to the town clerk at Town Hall or faxed to 683-0573.
