PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Portsmouth Town Council will discuss aging school structures and short-term rentals at its next meeting on Monday, March 26.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 2200 East Main Road.
On the agenda is a presentation about the Rhode Island Fix Our Schools initiative, a statewide action plan being launched ahead of a $250 million state bond being placed on the November ballot.

The council will also discuss holding a public hearing about the draft of a short-term rental ordinance, which could impact homeowners with short-term rentals less than 31 days, such as those with Airbnb rentals.
