PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Portsmouth Water and Fire District will hold its election on Wednesday, June 14.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the district’s office located at 1944 East Main Road.
Registered voters residing in the Portsmouth Water and Fire District will be asked to elected one (1) clerk and one (1) water commissioner for a 3-year term to serve on the 7-member administrative board.
Incumbent Philip T. Driscoll of 169 Immokolee Drive is running for the clerk’s seat.
Andrew V. Kelly of 33 Pine St., who also serves on the Portsmouth School Committee, is running for the water commissioner’s seat.
As required by state law, voters will be required to show identification at vote in the water district election.
