In a recently published article of FoxLa.com, authorities arrested a Los Angeles man on Thursday in connection to the Yves Saint Laurent flash mob burglary which took place at the Americana shopping mall last week.
Glendale Police Department arrested Ivan Isaac Ramirez, 23-year-old, on several charges, that includes organized retail theft, burglary, grand theft and conspiracy. Glendale Police Department also issued an arrest warrant of a second suspect, 21-year-old Brianna Jimenez, also of Los Angeles.
Glendale Police Department Chief Manny Cid., assure all members of the Glendale community and the broader Los Angeles region that these smash-and-grab robberies and burglaries will not be tolerated. He added that this marks the first arrest made by Glendale Police Department and there will be more arrests to come.

The Glendale Police Department reported, that the flash mob burglary happened last Tuesday afternoon and was caught on camera by numerous witnesses. It was said by Glendale Police Department that at least thirty suspects fled with an estimated $400,000 in merchandise.
According to the latest press release, the Glendale Police Department joined the Organized Retail Crime Task Force. In response to the recent surge in flash mob-style burglaries. The task force will work to proactively put an end to these types of crimes.
The report shows that the suspects get as much merchandise as possible and divide into small teams to flee in multiple vehicles. The crimes are said to be completed within 2 to 3 minutes.
