Polo G and Trench Baby’s arrest by the LAPD and Burbank Police Department
In a recent article published by PitchFork.com, an incident allegedly involving his brother led to Polo G being arrested and booked by two different police department. Taurus Tremani Bartlett, known professionally as Polo G was arrested by LAPD and Burbank Police Department.
Rapper Polo G was arrested yesterday due to an incident allegedly involving his younger brother, the rapper Trench Baby. According to LAPD, detectives went to rapper Polo G and Trench Baby’s home to arrest the younger rapper for robbery but ended up charging rapper Polo G with possession of a short-barreled rifle found at their residence.
Following rapper Polo G and Trench Baby’s arrest by the LAPD, rapper Polo G and his brother were also arrested on kidnapping, robbery, and assault by the Burbank Police Department. The root of these charges are from an incident that was filed in April. Rapper Polo G and his brother were released on $100,000 bail and are due in court on Thursday, October 26. The charges are also pending review the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Police Department, they recovered numerous firearms from rapper Polo G’s home and a vehicle registered to rapper Polo G. Rapper Polo G was booked for possession of a short-barreled riffle, while his brother was charged with robbery.
Bradford M. Cohen, attorney of the rapper Polo G said in a statement, that the charges against rapper Polo G are very unusual given the timing and knowledge of the police. The length of time between the alleged incident and the arrest is suspect. He added that all the facts will come out and it will be a very different story than how the charges look on paper.
Both rapper Polo G and his brother are expected to appear in court on Oct. 26. The investigation is ongoing with charges from a report filed in April earlier this year that listed the Bartlett brothers as suspects.
