In a recent article published by Fox5Vegas, a teenage girl was accused of killing a man in a Las Vegas Strip hotel room had a preliminary hearing in justice court today.
Emma Kusak is facing charges of murder in Las Vegas. According to the court documents, Kusak was book into Clark County Detention Center on July 26, her 18th birthday. Aside from the murder in Las Vegas, Kusak was also charged of robbery and grand larceny of a motor vehicle after a shooting on June 29.
The murder in Las Vegas was reported by the accused herself when Kusak called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, saying she murdered someone. The report of the murder in Las Vegas followed as the police officers found a dead man who later identified as Charlie Satrustegui.

According to Kusar, during an interview of the murder in Las Vegas with LVMPD, she had met the victim on a dating app for about two months. The two texted over the next two months before the victim asked Kusak if she wanted to meet, as he was visiting Las Vegas from California. Kusak agreed, and the victim picked her up and took her to the hotel, where he was staying. That’s where the story of the murder in Las Vegas begins.
The murder in Las Vegas accused Kusak appeared in justice court on Aug. 7, and the defense’s motion for bail was denied. Her legal team also made an oral motion for a two-week continuance in order to file a motion to suppress specific evidence in the case. This motion was granted, despite an objection by the prosecution. The accused of the murder in Las Vegas Kusak court appearance was rescheduled for Aug. 21.
On September 5, the accused of the murder in Las Vegas Kusak and her attorney asked the court for a continuance in the case, citing the need for additional time to review discovery material. The state had no opposition to the motion, which was granted. Kusak who was accused of the murder in Las Vegas continues to be held without bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 16.
