A convenience store shooting in Kansas left a police officer injured and hospitalized while the suspect was shot and killed during a standoff.
Convenience Store Shooting Incident in Kansas
Lenexa police officers were searching for a stolen car that led to a shooting incident. The driver of the car, the suspect whose name was not revealed, started shooting the police officers and fled. It was also found that the suspect struck a police patrol car.
In a published article in Associated Press, police officers chased the suspect who was driving the stolen car until they trapped him in the convenience store. The suspect started shooting again hitting a police officer, minutes after the suspect was shot and killed.

Multiple Agencies Worked to Arrest the Suspect
According to a published report in US NEWS, multiple agencies or law enforcement agencies tried to arrest the suspects. It was found that there were two suspects involved. The first suspect was shot and killed while the other one was arrested.
Furthermore, a police officer who was shot and hospitalized is now in stable condition. A Johnson County law enforcement team is now reviewing the shooting incident.
