Bijou Phillips files for divorce after her husband rape case sentence
In an article published by Today.com, that the “That ’70s Show” star’s wife filed for divorce on Sept. 18 in Santa Barbara Superior Court, according to court records. The divorce news comes less than two weeks after Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for rape.
Bijou Phillips said it was irreconcilable difference that made her decide to divorce her husband Danny Masterson who received a 30 years to life in prison sentence for rape. Danny Masterson was found guilty for raping two women in May. Phillips lawyer gave the divorce news following her husband prison sentence for rape.
According to Phillips attorney, she decided to divorce her husband in this trying times – after Masterson received the guilty prison sentence for rape. Phillips top priority is their daughter. And even when this unfortunate event happened, she was thankful to Masterson for being a good father to their daughter. Masterson and Phillips got married wayback 2011 and got one daughter, Fianna Masterson. They had a good relationship until Masterson received guilty charge in prison sentence for rape.
