The Colorado coroner named the identities of three severely decomposed bodies found at a remote campsite earlier this month.
Identities of 3 Persons
The three severely decomposed bodies of three persons were identified by the Gunnison County, Colorado coroner. The two women were Christine Vance and Rebecca Vance and authorities assumed that they were in their 40s while the third body belongs to Rebecca’s son.
In a published article in FOX News, all three persons were believed to come from Colorado Springs. Gunnison County Coroner Michael Barnes said that they are still working to determine when the three persons died but their initial assumption is early this month.

Possible Cause of Death
According to a published article in CBS News, officials are still waiting for the results of a toxicology test. They believed that the three persons possibly died due to starvation, freezing temperatures or carbon monoxide poisoning from trying to make fire to stay warm while they were camping.
Barnes said, “I wonder if winter came on quickly and suddenly, they were just in survival mode in the tent. They had a lot of literature with them about outdoor survival and foraging and stuff like that. But it looked like they supplied at a grocery store.”
