A couple in Pennsylvania were charged and arrested following the fatal death of a 5-year-old boy due to blunt force trauma.

Pennsylvania Couple Tortured a 5-Year-Old Boy Were Charged and Arrested
Adoptive parents of a 5-year-old boy were charged and arrested after they tortured the child leading to his death. The adoptive mother identified as Lauren Moloberti and her husband Jacob Maloberti, who works as a correction officer, were both accused of torturing the child.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, Lauren was charged with the following:
- criminal homicide
- first-degree murder
- endangering the welfare of children
- two counts of aggravated assault of a child
- criminal conspiracy
Meanwhile, her husband will face the following charges:
- criminal homicide
- endangering the welfare of children
- two counts of aggravated assault
- criminal conspiracy
Furthermore, investigators gathered pieces of evidence against the couple after they recovered the phones of the couple. The retrieved exchange of text messages that were full of disdain for the victim.
5-Year-Old Boy Was Brutally Tortured
According to a published article in the Independent, Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Zicarelli said that the 5-year-old boy suffered abuse and trauma from his adoptive parents. Zicarelli vowed to prosecute the couple with the dignity and honor that the child deserves.
Moreover, a doctor from the Children’s Hospital told different news outlets that the 5-year-old boy suffered three brain bleeds, and his brain was “obliterated,” He also added that the boy went through “multiple episodes of physical abuse, in combination with at least two types of emotional maltreatment.”
