A renowned oncologist at Mt. Sinai in New York City, Dr. Kryslat Cascetta, shot and killed her baby and then committed suicide.
Dr. Krystal Cascetta Committed Murder-Suicide
Residents in Westchester County were shocked after they heard that the renowned oncologist Dr. Krystal Cascetta committed murder-suicide. Most of the residents did not even know that the oncologist had a child in the house where the crime happened.
In a published article in CBS News, police authorities that they responded to the home of Dr. Krystal Cascetta in Somers, New York City after they received a report of a gunshot around 7:00 a.m. on Saturday. Authorities did not yet reveal any information about the murder-suicide incident.

Dr. Krystal Cascetta Was Not Expected to Commit the Crime
According to a published article in Yahoo News, patients and neighbors of Dr. Krystal Cascetta did not expect her to commit murder-suicide. One of her patients said she remembered Dr. Krystal Cascetta as full of life and she helped patients in the cancer journey.
Another patient said, “When we heard about it, it just rocked us to the core. Really it did. And the whole neighborhood … we’re all upset.”
Meanwhile, the family of Dr. Krystal Cascetta only said that their family member was a wonderful person and that what happened was a tragedy in their family.
