Donovan Anderson, an Oklahoma man, is arrested for assaulting an older lady by stomping on her face.
An Oklahoma man is accused of stomping on a 71-year-old woman’s face after she allegedly muttered something ‘he did not like,’ according to the local police.
Police in Tulsa responded to complaints of an assault on an older woman near 21st and Sheridan streets. A lieutenant came to find the woman injured and receiving care from multiple witnesses.
Following the incident on Thursday at around 5:45 p.m., Oklahoma man Donovan Anderson was charged with aggravated assault and battery on an elderly person.
According to an article by FOX News, police were informed by witnesses that they saw the Oklahoma man stomping, hitting, and kicking the victim. The culprit was located nearby by authorities after they moved fast to identify him.
When investigators questioned Anderson about what transpired, the suspect acknowledged to the attack and insisted that the victim said “something wrong to him.”
The police statement further stated that “Donovan Anderson said he beat the woman because she said something wrong to him that he did not like.” “We think the victim was on her way home after getting off the bus at the time of the attack.”
The 71-year-old victim which the Oklahoma man Anderson stomped on was admitted to a local hospital.
Several complaints about an old woman being assaulted by a younger Oklahoma man led police to arrive at 21st and Sheridan on August 3 about 5:45 p.m., according to the police.
The 71-year-old woman was discovered by the police with severe injuries to her face, head, and torso from the assault done by Oklahoma man Donovan Anderson.
Witnesses assisted in treating the woman’s wounds and gave police the direction of the culprit who was involved.
When the authorities got to the 25-year-old Oklahoma man, the suspect then asserted that he had done it to the woman because she said something that angered the suspect.
The woman was probably walking home from the bus when Anderson attacked her, according to the police.
