Police authorities confirmed that they arrested a 14-year-old child after a shooting in Minnesota that led to the death of a 12-year-old kid. It was found during the investigation that they were playing with the gun during a sleepover when the 14-year-old boy had access to the pistol.
In a published article in FOX News, police authorities did not mention the name of the 14-year-old boy involved in a shooting in Minnesota but the family of the victim identified the 12-year-old child as Markee Jones.
Meanwhile, Martez Hill said that her 12-year-old nephew was shot during a birthday celebration and sleepover. She also added that there were 12 kids during the sleepover and they were playing with the gun.
14-Year-Old Boy Involved in the Shooting in Minnesota Was Arrested
According to a published article in PATCH, the 14-year-old boy was arrested and held at a juvenile detention center on a charge of manslaughter. The parents of the boy did not yet release any statements about the shooting in Minnesota.
On the other hand, the aunt of the victim said, “I hope this brings a lot of attention to people who have firearms to make sure you keep your gun safely locked away.”
