According to the Detroit News, Michigan gas prices prices are down to $54 on average for a full 15-gallon tank, according to AAA- The Auto Club Group, which also credits Saudi Arabian news for the decline.

State and metro gas averages from AAA reveal:
• Marquette, Traverse City, and Metro Detroit have the highest average gas prices ($3.77, $3.72, and $3.71, respectively).
• Average gas prices in Benton Harbor ($3.49), Flint ($3.52), and Grand Rapids ($3.56) are the least expensive.
