Running back Jonathan Taylor will have less than a week to find a possible pick in his next destination, if he ever wants to be traded.
Running back Jonathan Taylor was given a deadline by Indianapolis Colts to find a suitable trade partner.
The running back was granted the permission to seek a trade by the Colts on Monday. Ever since then, there have been six teams that inquired about a trade for the running back, as two of them has made an offer.
The running back is entering is final year of the contract and was looking for an extension ahead of training camp, however the Colts have not shown willingness to extend Taylor up until this point, which has led the running back to make a trade request in July.

If the Colts want Taylor on the roster, they have to activate him from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. If they don’t the running back will miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season.
The relationship between the Colts and the running back appears to acrimonious following Taylor’s request for trade. The running back has been excused from the team twice, leaving the team’s camp to receive treatment for his ankle.
Colts owner Jim Irsay said that the team had no plans to trade Taylor at all this season as his agent took shots at the team on social media.
