El Chapo’s wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, partied at a LA club house after she was released early from federal custody over charges of drug trafficking.

According to Daily Caller, a video came out showing El Chapo’s wife in a club partying in Friday after she was released from prison. The video showed Emma Coronel enter the club and mingling for photos. TMZ reported the location was El Farallon Restaurant and Event Center in Lynwood, LA.

The event occurred two days after El Chapo’s wife was released from low security prison last Wednesday. She was sentenced back in 2021 to three years of prison followed by four years of supervised release after she pleaded guilty to a three count charge related to drug trafficking, money laundering, and engaging in transactions and dealing with Guzman. TMZ noted that El Chapo’s wife only served two of those three year prison sentence.

El Chapo’s wife’s lawyer reportedly organized the party and performed a song there, reported by TMZ. El Chapo’s wife’s lawyer, Mariel Coron Miro, started her legal career in 2017 as part of El Chapo’s wife’s legal team.

El Chapo’s wife was initially housed at a federal prison in Texas but she was moved to an undisclosed transitional facility in California.

According to the New York Post, El Chapo’s wife was ordered to pay almost $1.5 Million in fines for her prison sentence. Before El Chapo’s wife was arrested, she was accused of helping her husband orchestrate his 2015 escape.

El Chapo’s wife was released on Wednesday morning after she spent two years in a California halfway house. However, she will still be serving four years of supervised release.
