Everson Griffen Arrested on Suspicion of DUI
Jail records show that former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of DUI. The 35-year-old former Vikings player was booked into Carver County Jail at 12:41 p.m. and the jail records also revealed that he was released one hour after his arrest.
In a published article in New York Post, Everson Griffen has a history with mental health and this has been well documented over the years. It can be remembered that he revealed in 2021 that he was dealing with bipolar disorder after police and mental health professionals went to his home because of his video on Instagram that raised concerns.
Another Vikings Player is Off-the-Field
According to an article published in CBS News, another player will be off-the-field because rookie wide receiver Jorda Addison was cited for overspeeding and reckless driving last week. He was driving at a speed of 140 MPH in a 55-MPH zone.
Addison released a statement saying, “Yesterday morning I made a mistake and used poor judgment. I recognize and own that. I am going to learn from this and not repeat the behavior. I am truly sorry,” He apologized to the fans and the management of the team.
