The 2024 Presidential Elections are nearing, and the voters are having the economy on their minds. The price of fuel is one of the most direct evidence as to how the economy is faring.
- Maryland. The average fuel prices of a gallon of regular-grade gas in this state is $3.713, beow Monday’s price of $3.732. The fuel prices a week ago was at $3.809.
- Virginia. The average fuel prices for a gallon of regular-grade gaas in Virginia dropped at $3.69, below Monday;s $3.626. Last week it was at $3.662.
- Washington, D.C. The average fuel prices for a gallon of regular-grade gas here is down on Tuesday at $3.979, while Monday’s was at $3.981. Last week’s price was at $4.042.

According to AAA, the fuel prices last week was at $3.854.
- California. The average fuel prices for a gallon of regular-grade gas remains startingly high at $5.920 on Tuesday which was 3 cents up from Monday. Last week, California;s fuel prices were ate $5.260.
- New York. The average fuel prices for New York was ate $3.905. This was 5 cents up from Monday. Last week, it was at $3.918.
- Texas. The average price for Texas is up Tuesday at $3.406, which is 3 cents op from Monday. Last week’s price was at $3.465.
