A Michigan man kidnapped and murdered a 2-year-old girl after attacking the child’s mother, his ex-girlfriend.

Michigan Man Kidnapped and Murdered a 2-Year-Old Girl
A Michigan man named Rashad Maleek Trice attacked his ex-girlfriend, the mother of the 2-year-old girl, on the evening of July 2. Authorities said that he allegedly assaulted and stabbed the woman in her Lansing apartment and kidnapped the child.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, police authorities identified the 2-year-old child as Wynter Cole-Smith. The mother called for help and a manhunt was immediately conducted to arrest the Michigan man and rescue the child.
However, even though the Michigan man was found and arrested, the 2-year-old child was not found. On July 5, the dead body of Wynter Cole-Smith was discovered in a Detroit Alley near the A. Young International Airport.

Michigan Man Charged With Multiple Counts of Crimes
According to a published article in CLEVELAND19, the office of Attorney General Dana Nessel will charge the following against the Michigan man:
- first-degree premeditated murder
- felony murder
- assault with intent to murder
- two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct
- two counts of kidnapping
Furthermore, the Michigan man will serve life in prison if he will be convicted of premeditated murder, felony murder, assault with intent to murder, and criminal sexual conduct.
