Danelo Calvacante, the escaped convicted murderer was sentenced to life last month for killing his ex-girlfriend in 2021.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say that Eleni Calvacante, the sister of the escaped convicted murderer, Danelo Calvacante, could face deportation at the escapee’s trial. Prosecutors have said that Danelo left her thousand of dollars in cash.
Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said in a press conference that the escaped convicted murderer’s sister is an overstay, and with her not cooperating, there is no reason to keep her in the US after she has failed to cooperate. Bivens also did not confirm whether Eleni provided any assistance to her brother since his escape from Chester County Prison on August 31, but also said that her detainment should serve as a warning to others.
Officials are now in their 12th day into the manhunt for the escaped convicted murderer who was sentenced to life last month for killing his ex-girlfriend, Deborah Brandao, at her home back in 2021.
