The summer in the United States of 2023 may be coming to an end, but the excessive heat is not.

On Saturday and Sunday, Texas is expected to experience more heat records summer in the United States as it continues to swelter.
According to the National Weather Service, local temperatures reached 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43.3 degrees Celsius), beating the previous record for this date established in 2011 by four degrees.
This year’s summer in the US has already been punished by a number of heat waves, the most recent of which is the one causing misery in Texas this weekend.
The majority of eastern Texas, most of Louisiana, most of Mississippi, and areas of Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, and the Florida Panhandle all experienced excessive heat during the summer in the United States.
Peak heat-index readings of 119 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit (48.3 and 48.9 degrees Celsius) are anticipated throughout the region this summer in the United States.
The city of Jackson, Mississippi, was still under an excessive heat warning since Saturday’s high was predicted to be 103 degrees F (39.4 C).
A further four million gallons of water are transported through the city’s water system each day as a result of the high temperatures, according to city officials. To help conserve water, JXN Water is requesting that residents reduce their water usage.

Ten times since June, ERCOT has seen record high-peak electricity demand.
Due to the high temperatures and consequently high demand for electricity, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, has requested the voluntary reduction of power usage from its 30 million people five times this summer in the United States.
In the meantime, Louisiana’s whole state was under a burn restriction and an excessive heat alert this summer in the United States because of persistently dangerous fire weather conditions.
According to National Weather Service meteorologist Phil Grigsby in Louisiana, this has been the hottest summer in the United States that we can recall.
Temperatures are predicted to be a little lower for the Dallas region, which had experienced nine days with record high temperatures before to Saturday.
