The ‘Doomsday mom,’ Lori Vallow Daybell, has appealed her conviction for killing her two children. She was dubbed the ‘Doomsday mom’ after being found guilty.
According to Metro, now that Lori Vallow Daybell two-year trial has over, Lori Vallow Daybell’s attorneys are hoping the Idaho Supreme Court will reverse the guilty judgment.
Tylee Ryan, 16, and Joshua ‘JJ’ Daybell, 7, were two of Lori Vallow Daybell children who died, and she was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in their murders.
Lori Vallow Daybell kids haven’t been seen since September 2019. Investigators unearthed their bodies in Lori Vallow Daybell husband Chad Daybell’s property in June 2020.

Lori Vallow Daybell was also found guilty of plotting the murder of Tammy Daybell, Daybell’s ex-wife.
According to New York Post, a court document, Lori Vallow Daybell’s attorney, Jim Archibald, is requesting that the Idaho Supreme Court take into account 16 different potential issues regarding Lori Vallow Daybell’s conviction, including whether the court erred when it determined that his client was “competent to stand trial” in April 2022 following Lori Vallow Daybell’s “10 months in a mental hospital,” according to the court document.
Among other things, he is asking the Supreme Court to take into account whether the court erred in allowing prosecutors to amend the grand jury indictment brought against Lori Vallow Daybell and whether Idaho prosecutors’ “repeated requests for a continuance” violated the right of Lori Vallow Daybell to a speedy trial and the court’s rules.
Prior to Lori Vallow Daybell sentencing hearing, where Lori Vallow Daybell was ordered to serve three life terms without the possibility of parole, Vallow had already logged more than 1,200 days in a local jail.
