FBI Data stated that this has the 15th highest crime rate in the state. If not for its crime rate, this would be a desirable city to live in as this has many positive features.
- NEBRASKA CITY. Nebraska City is the third in this list of worst places to live in Nebraska as one of the reasons this is part of the list is because of the lack of safety. This is the 4th most dangerous place to live in the state. Another issue is at schools here are ranked as below-average.

- SOUTH SIOUX CITY. This is the fourth in the list of worst places to live in Nebraska. This has the 5th most property crime and the 11th highest violent crime in the state. - SIDNEY. Sidney is the fifth in the list of worst places to live in Nebraska. Crime is the biggest issue as this is the 7th most dangerous place to live in. This also has the 9th highest property crime rate and the 6th most violent crimes. Other issues include: lack of outdoor and leisure activities.
- FREMONT. This is the last in the list of worst places to live in Nebraska. This is the 12th most dangerous place to live in the state. It also has the 12th highest property crime rate and the 15th most violent crime in the state. Another issue is the lack of job opportunities as Fremont has the 4th highest unemployment rate in the state. To add, public schools here are ranked as performing significantly below the average.
